פדרו אלפונסו מוראלס רואיז הוא  משורר, סופר, מלחין ופרופסור לשפה וספרות, נולד בטליקה, לאון, ניקרגואה, ב-13 במאי 1960. למד משפטים ותואר שני בשפה וספרות היספאנית. הוא טיפח את שלוש תשוקותיו הגדולות: ספרות, מוזיקה והוראה.

פרסם שלושה רומנים, שנים עשר ספרי סיפורים קצרים, שמונה ספרי שירה, חמישה ספרי לימוד מאז 2005, חמש קליגרפיות מאז 2017, שתי אנתולוגיות של קבוצת ארטליקה, שהקים ב-2012. Mi Güegüense, אחד משיריו, הוקלט  ע"י גוסטבו בוקרדו.
